“People all across the globe see America as a beacon of freedom and a beacon of hope…. If anybody would have told me before I came to America there would come a day when I would encounter or meet American citizens in favor of communism, I probably would have laughed in their face.” — Bogdan Laurentiu, A Romanian immigrant who moved to the United States in pursuit of a better life
We Need Warriors
Bobby L Smith issued a warning to barely red South Dakota: “You are on the verge of being taken over.” The US Marine Corps veteran moved here recently from California because, in his words, “The Democrats destroyed my home, and they will destroy South Dakota if we don’t stop them.” He didn’t mince words describing the experience of many who came to South Dakota from blue states such as Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and others. They are fleeing the orchestrated destruction of US culture. Smith, who has been called an Uncle Tom because of his support of the Constitution and the values it was designed to protect, is not putting up with hateful leftist rhetoric designed to divide people. People who value freedom must stick together.
Smith has lived the worst and the best of the American experience. He was raised in the inner city and placed in foster care. But because of the uniquely American freedom to choose opportunity over defeat, he has made good use of his life. He became a Marine and served his country in Iraq and Afghanistan. He entered law enforcement in 2009 and served until six months ago. And then, because he is a free man and a logical thinker, he refused a mandate to get jabbed with an experimental drug. Because of that, he was fired. So he came here in the belief that South Dakota was a place where liberty still exists. “But,” he says, “not for long if you don’t put a stop to the socialists.”
He is determined that his new home not be corrupted and ruined the way California has been, so he is fired up. Bobby hit the ground running. He’s running for Republican delegate from Minnehaha to the State Convention. If you see Bobby Smith on your ballot, vote for him. He is an outspoken truth teller and the real deal.
