Please Wipe the Blue Off Your Shoes
Seems like a LOT of people are moving to South Dakota from places like California, New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Minnesota, Colorado, Virginia, and Oregon. Welcome! Maybe. With caveats...
Goodness in the form of innocence can render you a prey to others. In a predatory world, it is not always easy to distinguish virtue from gullibility. ― Terry Eagleton
A lot of people who moved to South Dakota know how much the Democrat Marxists want to own the Midwest. These blue-state refugees have been warning the folks that the leftists aren’t satisfied just with Chicago and Minneapolis. They want the whole enchilada. But not all of the transplants are here because they hate what they left. Some want to transform their new home.
It’s been said that the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. So if blue-state refugees keep voting here for the kind of policies and politicians that gave them filth, homelessness, drug culture, violence, oppression, and confiscatory taxation in their old state, what does that make them?
And if the people raised in South Dakota keep responding to insane attacks on our culture with politeness, what does that make us?
A lot of people raised in South Dakota tend to be polite avoiders of conflict. But conflict is coming uninvited. All it takes are Democrat Marxists and RINOs to declare war on people minding our own business. If we don’t fight back, then there is no conflict. And no autonomy. No freedom. If we value our own lives and those of our children and grandchildren, then we must resist the corruption of our language, culture, and institutions.
It may take two to tango, but it only takes one side to wage a war. In the case of Marxists, they are ever unhappy, ever agitating for “change” from what works to that which does not work.
Tips:
Referring to a girl as “she, her” is not hate speech, no matter what delusion she is living in. Do not apologize for using normal language.
Loving and expressing your love for the founding principles of the United States does not make you a terrorist.
Politicians who lecture you on “the process” when you ask direct questions about what they are up to are avoiding the answer.
If your friends and family want you to shut up and not rock the boat, you may need to make new friends and seek out other family members.
It’s perfectly good and moral to call a lie a lie. Out loud. To the liar.
