Why Bother?
This is why.
In Idaho last week, a total of 20 incumbent Republicans RINOs — 11 running for the Senate and nine running for the House — were defeated or poised to lose. A big part of these results is thanks to the work of the Idaho Freedom PAC, which actively recruited candidates against incumbents.

You can Observe or Watch (two different things) what’s happening at your local polling place on election day. The guidelines are spelled out pretty clearly on the Secretary of State’s web site:
If you see something that doesn’t look right, you would make a note of it and also mention it to the Poll Supervisor when he or she is not busy (but only if it does not interfere with the voting process).
As a watcher on behalf of a candidate, you also might be checking names off a list of expected voters as they say their names out loud to the poll workers. If folks who said they were going to vote for your candidate haven’t shown up as the day wears on, they might get a friendly reminder call.
Local candidates need many volunteers to help make sure the election is honest and turnout is great for the candidates we like. Consider lending a hand for a few hours on Primary election day, June 7, 2022. If you’re not sure who you can help, here’s a reminder of who’s who from the Patriot Ripple Effect Chit Chat event in April:
A list of the candidates, even the ones you don’t want to help, can be found on the Secretary of State’s web site.
