Interact with fellow Patriots, learn about the First Liberty Institute, and explore the five pillars of PRE.
The First Liberty Institute is considered the flip side of the ACLU. It provides free legal services and support to those dealing with religious liberty issues. It was founded by Attorney Kelly Shackelford in 1997.
The First Liberty Institute is heavily involved in the Supreme Court case involving Oregon baker, Sweet Cakes by Melissa, who refused to create a custom cake for a same-sex wedding.
The Joe Kennedy case, a football coach who was fired for praying on the 50-yard-line during a game, and the Makin case, a family that was excluded from public benefits because they choose a religious education for their children, are some of the Supreme Court cases the institute has championed.
We are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday. Kids, families, and students are welcome!
