When She’s Good She’s Great
Governor Noem was a shining beacon at the NRA conference this week - uncompromising on what is clearly right and wrong and Constitutional regarding gun ownership. And she has properly denounced he USDA’s plan to withhold funding for lunches for poor kids in school districts that don’t actively promote the Biden Administration’s rules for the introduction and normalization of gender dysphoria disorder in young children. But... but... but...
Is You Is or Is You Ain’t?
We are distressed and confused by Noem’s decision to endorse Rachel Dix for South Dakota Senator for the 3rd District. Dix just registered as a Republican for the very first time in November. Her campaign treasurer, Jack Hieb, practiced law with Lee Schoenbeck, who has been hostile toward and deceptive about conservative candidates. More concerning, Dix is listed as Executive Officer, D.E.I. Task Force EOC Liaison, Aberdeen Home Builders Association, for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The Diversity Equity and Inclusion (D.E.I.) Movement is the very movement that is pushing Biden’s kid-grooming agenda through the USDA, as well as inculcating kids and adults with the notion that they are born racist or victims of racism. Teachers, not parents, are to be in charge of kids’ moral, ethical, and sexual upbringing. Corporations are to “re-educate” their employees. It is a movement that demands rigid conformity with and affirmation of policies at odds with the sincere beliefs and values of a majority of Americans. It is the opposite of live and let live.
Governor Noem told a PRE meeting that she endorsed Dix because they are friends and have known each other for a long time. Dix may be a friend of the governor’s, but as a member of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Movement, is she a friend to main stream South Dakotans? Hmmm.
“It's been said that Republicans are just Democrats driving the speed limit, and that seems about right in this case.” —Harris Rigby
A RINO by Any Other Name
It does look to be an obvious case of Noem supporting a Republican in name only, or at least someone who is confused about their first principles. The country club Republicans in Aberdeen want an easy vote for Federal government largesse, which comes with strings as heavy as chains. We need to rescue our Governor and ourselves from her bad decision.
Al Novstrup Is Who She Should Have Endorsed
Al Novstrup(R) is running for reelection in Aberdeen for the state senate. His credentials are 24K gold Conservative Republican as 3rd District Senator. He has an 84% rating with CPAC (third highest in the Senate this year) and high marks with other conservative organizations like SD Right to Life & the NRA. Al respects his neighbors and does not see them as a flawed product to remake into a leftist image. “South Dakotans are blessed with freedom and a quality of life that I will work each day to defend,” he says. “South Dakota values are my values.”
