Digital Currency = Government Control
What if the government could take your money just because they don't like your viewpoints? If the digital currency bill, HB 1193, passes the Senate that could be the case.
What if the government could take your money if they didn’t like what you say, what kind of car you drive, your occupation, where you send your kids to school, whether you are vaccinated, your carbon footprint, whether you donate to specific charities, who you befriend, your religion…? Unfortunately, digital currency allows the government to have this kind of power over us.
“As government expands, liberty contracts.” ― Ronald Reagan
Unfortunately, many Republicans in the House endorsed government overreach by voting yes on the digital currency bill, HB 1193. Now this bill is headed to the Senate. Make sure you sign the petition and contact your Senator directly to urge him/her to vote NO on the Senate version of the bill.
Even though this bill passed the House, there were some Representatives in that Chamber who were looking out for personal freedom and voted no.
