Defeating Watergate 2.0
As conservatives push back, the LEFT takes radical measures to stay in power. Patriot Ripple Effect talks about the distractions and how to push back and win.
Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate. — John F. Kennedy
We have a “Watergate” in South Dakota. Here are a few of the recent events.
A month or so ago, Representative Kevin Jensen, a strong conservative, announced he was running for South Dakota GOP Chair. Shortly thereafter, his law office experienced TWO break-ins. No one is sure if he was threatened or if the intruder was sent to plant “evidence”, but shortly after the second break-in Jensen left the race.
Now the Minnehaha County Commission is attempting to intimidate Leah Anderson, the conservative who recently won the County Auditor election. Even though Leah has an accounting degree and over 30 years of accounting experience, has done audits, and is an active participant in the South Dakota election integrity efforts, the commission is saying she is only entitled to entry level salary. Some people are suggesting making her “entry level” is a tactic to keep Leah from having the authority to make necessary changes.
Over the past couple of years, South Dakota Canvassing has found many issues with voting in South Dakota including problems with the voting rolls, possible machine counting discrepancies, and suspect mailbox residency operations. When this group took legal efforts to preserve the 2020 voting records so a complete investigation could be conducted, the judge ruled that the records must be retained. Then a few days later he rescinded the order. Was the judge intimidated? Threatened?
At the GOP State Convention, the left wing of the SD GOP forced bylaw changes by having non-delegates vote and employing voice voting when it was obvious they would lose roll call votes.
Worst of all, the left has been working overtime to create dissension among conservatives which means WE LOSE AND THEY WIN.
They focus much of their work on egos and ambitions. Rather than falling prey to these tactics, we need to outsmart them.
If CONSERVATIVES UNIFY, THEY LOSE AND WE WIN.
This means we need better communication, fewer backroom deals, less focus on small things that mean little in the long run, and more emphasis on ways we can win. Then everyone, those who have been around politics for 40 years and those who are newbies, need to give a little. If we do, we will see a major shift in South Dakota politics. If we don’t, it will just be more of the same.
